Goth Add Me

38 .Male.San Diego
Everything in my life isn't black and I don't listen to marylin manson and Nine inch Nails.  Most people wouldn't consider me goth, as I don't fit the stereotype at all.

My main love in Post-Punk, Dark Wave, early Deathrock, New Wave, 77 Punk, Doo Wop, Boo  Wop, etc.

I don't write poetry or review the latest vampire novels.  I live life and post about it, pretty simple.  I created this new journal a few months ago and I'm trying to add more people that share some interests. If you're into goth or punk, great.. But if you're into 80's too, we could be best friends.

No need to ask, just add me if you wish. I will add you back.

Looking for Friends. [Sep. 8th, 2011|03:57 am]
Goth Add Me

[mood |busybusy]
[music |Johnny Cash.]

I made a new journal and I'm looking for some new LJ friends. I like Goth, metal, and Rock music. Horror Genre, favorite movie is The Return of The Living Dead. Horror punk. Halloween! Spooky home decorating.

I'm looking for LJ friends who are into the Horror Genre, Halloween, and Goth stuff.

Looking for friends who post about stuff other than drinking alcohol and that say no to drugs. Alcohol and drugs are lame.

*This is cross-posted in a few different communities.

Horror of my Life - A new blog about all things horror! [May. 13th, 2010|03:23 pm]
Goth Add Me

[mood |scaredscared]
[music |Knife Prty - Deftones]

Once upon a time there was a little girl who dressed only in black. At some point, as these things happen, she began dreaming of her Prince Charming, but instead of a fair blond hunk, she found the sadistically intellectual likes of Pinhead, Hannibal Lecter, and Freddy Krueger more stimulating. The little girl in black spent hours upon hours watching every horror movie she could get her hands on, she was nursed into reading by Goosebumps and devoured anything with a vampire or demon on the cover. She learned the intriguing way in which things could be frightening, disgusting, and sexy at the same time. Then something changed, at least for the movies. Being a girl who could imagine at least ten ways she could die in a car crash before getting to work with dread, and yet equally looked at a likely bottle of pills with longing as a way to avoid all life's little problems, such as, say, filing taxes or cleaning the house, there began to shift to more of a fear of death rather than an enjoyment of watching blond teenagers get slashed to ribbons. The boogeyman became frightening again.

This is a new journaling project from a vet writer, seeking to get back out of my comfort zone. I'll be updating weekly to several times per week with new reviews of movies, books, music, and anything else that might fit into the theme. Not everything might fit the strict horror gore genre, it could be anywhere from Sesame Street's the Count to dark fantasy erotica to snuff.

It's open to all, no questions asked, no commenting required, feel free to lurk away in your dark little corner of the world while we obsess together about blood and death and what draws us into that deep black night.

About me [Jun. 16th, 2008|05:21 pm]
Goth Add Me

[mood |amusedamused]

Hello my full name is Katerina, but my nickname is Kat and I'm 17.  I live in NY and will soon be attending SUNY Purchase. I just want to say, I would like to make some new friends. About me: I can be morbid (even though I'm not really goth) and love any film made by Tim Burton. I can be stubborn but only on certain topics. I hate fighting and am generally a peacemaker. I like to laugh, but only at the right moments, I don't become all giddy for no apparent reason. I love New Age things, particularly the music. I am spiritual and respect all religions whether they be strange or interesting. I respect homosexuals and would never discriminate them, because they are human beings like everyone else. I can sound mean but chances are I'm not serious. I'm a free spirit and a rebel at heart. Even though I don't dress goth I still like the whole look. I like vampires, werewolves, faeries, and etc- but am not obsessive about it. Anything more you can check out my profile, I have a huge thing going on there about me. :D

Here I am... [Mar. 8th, 2007|11:20 pm]
Goth Add Me

I just joined the community. I'm "LaKeesha", and I am forty years old. I am a housewife/jewelry-maker/office grunt/bassist(when I can), and I live in Tampa. I would be interested in having some friends of a more "gothy persuasion". (Esp. if you are in Tampa. Sure is lonely way out here.)

Anyway, I am not from Tampa. I am actually from Chicago. I have not been there in a long time though. I have lived in Atlanta and Boston as well.

If you'd like to see my work and/or read more about me, feel free to click HERE.

Go on ahead and ask me any questions or add me if you want to. I'll certainly add you back.

Goth Add Me

Greetings, I just joined the community.  I'm Andrea, and I am twenty years old   I am a university student, and I live in Chicago.  Most of my friends on livejournal are in fact my friends from real life, and so I would be interested in having some friends of a more gothy persausion.

I myself am mostly interested in Victorian gothic, velvet, lace, satin, and so forth, although you certainly don't have to be interested in all of those things for me to add you.  I am very interested in classical languages and classical literature, and I read quite a lot when I have free time.  Although I don't have a lot of free time, I tend to be rather active on this website in spite of it.

Feel free to ask me any questions or add me.  I'll certainly add you back.

This commercial makes me giggle.

BUT... Anyway. My name is Jennifer. But you can call me anything you want to, because I don't particularly like my name.

I don't really know what to put here; I'm not too great at introducing myself. I'd prefer if you could ask me some questions, and I could answer them...

My name's Jen, I suppose I'm the first poster?

Well, I'm an artist with a day-job at a hotel. I've been to England and Iceland, currently saving for another trip. I live in Portland, Maine and there's not much of a scene here, so I'd like to connect and branch out in other ways.
